Well, here in Pennsylvania, we're holding steady with a 12˚ winter day. There's snow on the ground and the sun is shining. What better day to stay cozy inside and blog some fun winter wedding ideas!? After all, I have plenty of inspiration. When Lance and I were engaged I must admit that the idea of a frosty winter wedding briefly skated across my mind... however, having our reception on top of a rolling Pennsylvania mountain on a beautiful September day won– hands down.
But really, how fun would it be to fill your day with frosty branches, cozy candlelight, and snuggly furs? (faux of course)! You don't have to look very far to find some gorgeous winter color palettes. Birch logs are really in right now and they could be used to make some fantastic winter decor! Hot chocolate bars, gold painted twigs, and snowy centerpieces; what's not to love about a winter wedding?!
There's lots more where this came from... feel free to check out my Pinterest board, it's bursting with more winter wedding inspiration!
I really love what the bride and groom are wearing below!
I'm also a big fan of the sweaters on the guys!
